Storefronts allow you to showcase your Plans—including Memberships, Bookings, Passes, Agreements, and Online Gift Cards—directly to customers, either online via your website or at in-gym kiosks.
Each facility has at least two default storefronts:
-
Web Home Storefront: For use on your website.
-
Kiosk Storefront: For use on in-gym devices.
You can also configure additional storefronts to fit your specific needs. The same kiosk URL can be used across multiple devices for convenience and consistency.
Follow this link for information on configuring your Kiosks (iPad or Chromebooks)
Build > Storefronts > Global Settings
In Build > Storefront > Global Settings, configure the following:
Navigation Bar Settings
This sets the top bar of your storefront
- Add your Logo.
- Top Bar Text field is the display text for the URL provided in the Top Bar Link field. It displays in the bar along the top of the storefront/customer profile and is the link to get back to your website.
- URL in the " Top Bar Link" field needs to include the prefix https://www.example.com
Check-In Settings
Enable this setting to allow customers to access a QR code in their customer portal to check in at your front desk.
Customers can bookmark this page for quick access to check in with their phone.
A customer’s ability to use this feature can also be controlled on their customer record. Customers default to following the storefront's global settings, but can be adjusted to:
- Override On = Enables Online Check-in regardless of the facility settings
- Override Off = Disables Online Check-in regardless of the facility setting
Customer Edit Settings
Enable this setting to allow customers to edit their personal information in the customer portal. To prevent customers from updating their name and date of birth, simply disable this option.
Online Profile Age Restriction
This setting limits the age of customers that can create an online customer profile.
By default, this is enabled and set to 13 years old.
Contact Us Settings
Toggle this setting to add a Contact Us link in the top right corner of the customer portal and storefront. When clicked, customers can submit a form that automatically creates a ticket in the corresponding facility’s ticketing system.
Invite Link Welcome Settings
If a customer does not yet have an online profile, a "Send Invite Link" button will appear on the Summary page of their customer record. Clicking this button sends the customer a unique link to create their online profile, which will be automatically linked to their existing customer record.
When the customer clicks the invitation link, they’ll be directed to the Facility Home Page of their Home Facility (as listed on their customer record), where a customizable message is displayed. You can configure that message here.
Organization Branding Configuration
Set your Global Theme Colors to apply consistent branding across your entire organization. These colors appear on the main landing page at your portal URL (e.g., portal.climbinggym.com).
If individual facilities require different branding, you can override the global settings by:
-
Selecting the desired facility in Redpoint.
-
Navigating to Manage > Organization & Facility Settings > Storefront Facility Settings.
-
Scrolling down to Branding Configuration.
Any colors set here will override the Global Branding Configuration for that specific facility’s storefront. To continue using the global theme, simply leave the facility-level fields blank.
Configure Your Storefronts: Build > Storefronts
Web Storefronts
Web storefronts are fully self-serve and require customers to log in to complete a purchase. If a plan requires payment, it will be collected during the checkout process.
Guest checkout is not available on web storefronts—unlike kiosk storefronts, which do support guest checkout.
A Web Home Storefront must be created in order to display a facility’s plans online. The web home storefront is the main portal landing page for a facility. Customers can navigate back to it from any plan they are viewing online and you can link it directly to your website.
Create one Web Home Storefront per gym. Within each storefront, you can:
-
Add plans directly
-
Organize plans using categories
-
Enable a calendar view for schedule-based offerings
The best practice is to have your web home storefront mirror the categorization of your website. You can then take embed code links from each category within your single web home storefront to link as you need in your website.
Go To Build > Storefronts. Then Click 'Add Web Storefront'
- An untitled storefront is created.
- Click Edit to set it up.
- Expand the row to access the URL for that storefront.
-
MUTLI-GYM: You must be in that facility to make the storefront. Once created, you can edit from any location.
- Storefront Name is an internal label.
- Description is also internal.
- Unique Storefront URL: The system will autogenerate a string of characters to append to the end of your portal URL. You can optionally change this string to something else. If it is already in use, the system will warn you. Do not enter the whole URL, just the text to display at the end of the URL.
- Toggle ‘Use as Facility Home Page’ This should be toggled ON for ONE web storefront in each location.
Kiosk Storefronts
Kiosk storefronts are designed for in-gym use. A single kiosk storefront URL can be used across multiple devices, making setup simple and consistent throughout your facility.
Kiosk storefronts can be configured in additional ways that web storefronts cannot:
1. Collect money at this Kiosk:
Toggle ON to take payment directly through the kiosk.
Toggled OFF if no payments will be taken at the kiosk. An invoice will be created and attached to the customer. The customer can then be looked up in Point of Sale, and the contract can be selected and paid for at the register.
Front Desk Workflow For Payments Toggled OFF: Open the Contracts module—Kiosk documents appear on the first tab. To complete the process, click Open in Cart to switch to the Front Desk and collect payment. This action finalizes the draft and converts it into a Confirmed/Active contract.
If payment is NOT taken at POS, the draft contract is not complete. Find these in the Contracts > Draft Contracts tab.
2. Allow Accessing Profile:
Enable this setting to allow customers to log in to their profile from the kiosk. This is useful when customers need to complete forms or view their account.
This feature is best used on staff-controlled kiosks where a team member can assist the customer if needed.
When enabling this option, it's important to also configure the:
-
Idle Timeout – to ensure the session ends after a period of inactivity.
-
Timeout Message – to inform the customer that they have been logged out.
Even with login enabled, customers will be automatically logged out after completing a form.
For customers needing to sign multiple documents, consider providing a QR code that links to your web storefront, allowing them to complete the process on their personal device.
3. Allow Guest Checkout (Only for Enabled Plans):
Toggle on to allow Guest Checkout for any plans in the storefront that allow Guest Checkout. See more info on Guest Checkout setting within the Plan.
4. Idle Timeout:
Time in seconds that the Kiosk will refresh after being idle and log out of the current profile.
5. Idle Timeout Message:
Message displayed to the customer after Kiosk is idle. There is a default message if the template is left blank.
Customize requirements for Guest Checkout when purchasing Plans at Kiosks
When customers make purchases through a kiosk using Guest Checkout (i.e., without an existing customer profile), you can prompt them to provide their contact information during the checkout process. This ensures you collect essential contact details even when the purchase isn’t tied to an existing customer profile.
To enable Guest Checkout for a plan:
-
Go to Build Menu > Plans > Manage Plans
-
Select the Directories tab
-
Click Edit on the desired plan
-
In the General tab, toggle Allow Guest Checkout to On
Adding Plans, Categories, and Calendars to Your Storefront
-
Click + Add Catalogue to create a new catalog.
-
Select the catalog from the left sidebar to edit it—this will display its editable fields in the center panel.
-
To return to the top level of the storefront hierarchy, click Configure Homepage.
-
To edit a Category or Calendar added to your storefront, select it from the left sidebar. Editable fields, including image and short description, will appear in the center panel.
-
You can also select individual plans from the left sidebar to add a photo and short description.
- Plan images and descriptions can also be managed through the Plan Presentation Configuration spoke for centralized control.
-
Show in Link bar will show the that Plan/Category/Calendar in the link bar across the top of the storefront. This is shown at the top of every page in the web home storefront.
Setting up Kiosks
See here for info on setting up your kiosks. The same url can be used on multiple kiosks
Linking the Customer Portal to Your Website
As part of your setup, you’ll receive a designated portal URL (e.g., portal.climbinggym.com). To direct customers to the online profile login page, simply add /profile to the end of the URL (e.g., portal.climbinggym.com/profile).
From this login page, customers can access their profile and the Web Home Storefront for their Home Facility.
For example, the Tradrocks website includes a link to its customer portal. Any customer with an online profile in RedpointHQ can access it. After entering their phone number or email, they will log into their profile, connected to their designated Home Gym.
Adding Storefronts, Categories, and Plans to Your Website - Embed Codes and URLs.
The entire web home storefront can be linked to your website. In addition, remember you can link a customer portal log in to your website as well.
Go to Build > Storefronts.
- Click Edit to open your Web Home storefront
- Select a Catalog in the left sidebar.
- Click Get Embed Code at right.
Embed Mode
In the Embed Code modal, use the Embed Mode dropdown to choose how the storefront will be displayed:
-
Modal Lightbox – Opens the storefront in a pop-up modal on the same page.
-
Same Page – Displays the storefront directly within the current page.
-
New Page – Opens the storefront in a new browser tab or window.
Select the option that best fits your website’s user experience.
Embed Code for a Single Plan
Go to Build > Plans.
- Find the Plan
- Click the Presentation spoke >Edit
- Click the button to get embed code or link.
