Overview
Amenities are the things you grant your customer via plans - things like facility access, discounts on select products, things like guest passes, on account purchasing, and more.
Grant the Amenity to a Plan on the Plan's Benefits Configuration Spoke
Amenity Types
Check-In
The Check-in Amenity grants access to the gym. If you have more than one check in amenity, sort order matters. If a customer has both, which should be prioritized (assuming both contracts are active).
Common Check-in benefits are Facility Access, Facility Access-Shareable (for punch cards that can be shared), and Early In Access.
It works in tandem with the Check-n Guard: Benefit Rule. You decide the names, and then decide the hours that this check in benefit is valid.
The Check-in Guard is configured in
Manage > Organization & Facility Settings > Check-in Guards > Check in Rules > Check in Benefit Rule. Once configured, these check in benefits will allow a "valid" check in through the check in module (no "bad" sound).
Note: Check in Sounds are configured here in Org and Facility settings > Check-in Settings.
Promotion
Promotions can be created that will apply to a customer's products (not contracts) in the POS cart.
- Create the Promotion Amenity
- Expand the Row created by clicking the + at the left
- Click New Product Promotion and create the promotion.
- See Promotion Article here for info on setting up product promotions.
Contract Tokens
Contract Tokens can be used to purchase designated contracts in the Front Desk POS cart (not currently usable online).
For example, a Guest Pass amenity should be configured as a contract token. The quantity of guest passes is then granted on the plan itself. See below for the full guest pass configuration info
On Account Purchasing
when selected, grants the benefit of the Facility spending limit an ability to place purchases on account if a pay method is on file and a contract with this benefit is active.
