Overview
There are three types of draft contracts, each serving a different purpose and behaving in unique ways:
Staff Drafts are created manually by staff members. These drafts reserve capacity in a course and remain in the system until they are either completed or deleted. If the contract’s start date has already passed, the system will automatically remove the draft during nightly cleanup. It’s important to train staff to either complete or delete these drafts to avoid lingering, unused reservations.
Online Drafts are generated by customers through the online customer experience and saved in their shopping cart. Like staff drafts, they temporarily reserve capacity in a course. The length of time they hold this reservation is determined by the booking limits configured in the plan. If the start date has passed and the contract is still a draft, it will be automatically removed overnight.
Kiosk Drafts are created by customers using a self-service kiosk that doesn’t require immediate payment. These drafts also reserve capacity in a course but are not automatically deleted by the system, regardless of the contract’s start date. Staff must manually review and manage kiosk drafts to keep the system accurate and up to date. Kiosk Drafts are denoted by purple "Kiosk Badge."
Draft contracts are INCOMPLETE and must be activated or pushed through POS to complete them. Go to: Manage > Contracts > Kiosk:Today > Open in Cart.
Viewing Draft Contracts
- Find all Draft Contracts under: Contracts > Draft Contracts
- Draft contracts are also found on the Customer record.
- Expand Contracts and click 'Open in Front Desk' to open in POS cart and complete the sale.
- In addition, Find todays Kiosk contracts (including draft contracts) here: Contracts > Kiosk: Today
- Open in cart to complete Kiosk Draft Purchase. This can only be done in gym where the draft originated.
