Menus
Menus run across the top of the screen and relate to configuration and reporting.
Modules
Modules live below menus, and take the user to the different modules they will interact with when using Redpoint.
Tabs and Sub-Tabs
Each page, whether from a Menu or Module, has tabbed sections across the top of the page, and occasionally tabs may have sub-tabs as shown below.

Plans & Contracts
Plans are the Programs, Memberships, Passes, and Agreements you build to present/sell to your customers.
Once a customer signs/completes/purchases a plan, their instance of it is called a Contract
Contract Holder & Enrollee(s)
Each contract has a Contract Holder, and then one or more Enrollees. The Contract holder may or may not also be an Enrollee on a contract.
Enrollment Types
Plans use Enrollment Types to present one or more participant options for the customer to select at sign up (for example, a waiver would have an Adult enrollment type and a Minor enrollment type or a class may have Member and Non-Member enrollment types). You decide on the names and requirements for all enrollment types.
Enrollment Types are tied directly to the Pricing configuration of a plan.
Shown below is Build (menu) > Plans.
A plan is selected in the Membership Plan List, and the Contract Tab is selected at the center of the screen under the Plan Name. All contracts of a selected plan are shown here.
The same expanded view of the contract can be found in the customer's record, accessible from both the contract holder and enrollee's customer records, in the contracts module, and via the calendar and more.
Contract Facility vs Home Facility
Every customer record has a home facility. This is may be the same or different from the Contract Facility.
The contract facility is assigned per contract and is determined by the location through which something was completed or purchased. ALL contracts come through a facility - even online, plans are "contract facility specific" within each storefront url and kiosk url.
Recurring billed contracts can be configured to "follow" - where the customers home facility will be changed to match the contract facility is a contract is purchased in a facility other than their home facility.
Seats vs Pins & Permissions
Seats tie to a person (using an authenticator app to log in) or a workstation (for front desk and shared back office machines) with an assigned local register.
Seats give a machine or a person access to Redpoint. The seat does not provide access to anything within Redpoint, use Roles and Permissions to configure access within Redpoint.
Roles & Permissions are what give you access within Redpoint. You configure these to meet the needs of your business. Assign roles to your Staff and provide them with a Pin to access parts of the system.
Basecamp is what you install on the computer to connect with a Seat
Customers & Online Profiles
-
All the actions taken by your customer through their Online Profile are automatically updated in the system.
- Parent and Child: Can have email and phone in contact numbers with only one online profile.
- Customer Records may or may not have an Online Profile configured on their account. There is an Online Profile in the customer record sidebar spoke where you can view their existing account or invite them to create an account.
-
Anything completed online requires that the customer first create an Online Profile to complete the contract.
-
When customers visit one of your booking pages, they will select enrollments, and when clicking Continue, this will pop up, prompting them to log in or create an account if they are new. Read more here: Online Profile.

Cancellation vs Termination
Cancellation happens while contract is confirmed but not yet active (booked/purchased but class/access has not started). can be configured to allow the customer to self cancel before start date.
Termination is for a recurring billed contract that is active. On and able to self-terminate up until the bill date by default via the customer portal (CPX), but you can disable or restrict to x days before billing if desired.
Freeze is for recurring billed contract that is active. Disabled by default but option can be added enabling customers to self-freeze beginning the next billing date. Disables all benefits while the customer is frozen.
Thaw: Frozen can be thawed “today” and it will prorate
Customer Record
(name, dob, address, phone, barcode, etc. + customer custom attributes = custom fields you add to your customer records and tie to your plans if desired.
Customer Segments
Generate lists of customers that match certain criteria. Customer Segments can be used alert customers, restrict signing up for a contract, and more. They are also used to generate email lists
Courses and Sessions
A course can be single or multi-session. in Redpoint, the Manage Course window is the window viewed when opening a course from the calendar module.
Single Database
Your product, customers, plans, etc. are all accessible from all locations.
Remember, customers, products, and plans are all in a single database, so everything is accessible from a single location. The only thing that requires location specific access is the local facility menu and payment methods in Organization & Facility Settings AND the ability to ring up something at another location.
