Overview

Add a query parameter to a plans storefront link to autofill a fixed or generated promo code!  Useful in emails  sharing promo codes to customers, or anywhere you are providing a booking/purchase link- make their experience one click!

Add to url

1. Add to the plan storefront link 
   (found in Build > Plans > on the plans Presentations Spoke > Get Home Storefront Link)

   Add  ?promo=PROMOCODE to the end of the url
   
   EXAMPLE: https://portal.climbinggym.com/north/programs/intro-class?promo=PROMOCODE
   
    

2. Add it to the end of a specifically selected course link 
   (found in Calendar > open a course > Get Course Link)  
   
   Add &promo=PROMOCODE to the end of the url
    

   EXAMPLE: https://portal.climbinggym.com/north/programs/intro-to-roped-climbing?course=Q291cnNlOjQwZWZiODBjY2JmYTZjYzRiZTdkMTg0MjgwZGVlN2Ew&date=2026-02-11&promo=PROMOCODE

Generated Promo Codes in Email Links

To add a generated promo code to a url in Emails (and in button links in emails,etc), use the promo code replacement field in the url!
 

EXAMPLE: https://portal.climbinggym.com/north/programs/intro-class?promo={{promo_TEST_code}}

TEST in the replacement field here corresponds to the Generated Code Prefix set in the promotion (Build > Promotions > Contract Promotions)
