Customer Geocoding and Mapping Features Released
For all customers with an address in your database, we now automatically provide Latitude and Longitude coordinates as well. This geocoding data is fully accessible for you to explore and exportable for you to download. Several mapping tools exist in the platform as well to easily segment and view maps of those customers.
Note: Due to the high cost of Geocoding services, mapping is currently only available to US/Canada customers. We are looking for providers and opportunities in other locales and will post any changes here and in the release notes.
Mapping Insights
In Insights (Menu) > Mapping (Tab) you can find three default map options.
Key Memberships
Here you can view all your key membership enrollments on a map.
- Filter by the member's home facility
- Change the strength of each point (useful when there are few points over a wide area)
- Change how strongly the points come together to form a single point
- Easily access your data underlying the map for use in external tools
Enrollments
When you want dive deeper into each of your memberships or look at your programs, passes, or agreements, the enrollments tab will let you hone in on a particular set of customers you are looking for.
In the example below, we are mapping all Pass enrollments that started the trailing month. Use the filters at the top, to quickly limit by facility, particular plan or date range.
Customer Segments
Finally, when enrollments mapping isn't enough you can map any arbitrary segment of customers you've created in your Customer Segments. Want to understand where your high-value retail purchases come from? Just make a segment!
